Intercommunale Leiedal is an intermunicipal organization that supports the broad socio-economic and spatial development of thirteen municipalities and cities in the Kortrijk region.
Leiedal realized a multifunctional online business directory (bedrijvengids), which contains all known businesses in the Kortrijk region accompanied by their official KBO (Kruispuntbank voor Ondernemingen) information: a.o. professional activities, annual reports, firm location and number of employees.
Until recently, the Leiedal business directory was a standalone webapplication. Krimson was asked to convert it into a flexible, easy-to-use ànd integrated Drupal module.
* Features in the spotlight
The database is frequently used and consulted by users, city services and entrepreneurs:
- users can now search for a company in the region, using a broad range of search parameters i.e. company name, activity or location;
- city services can easily keep track of the economic evolution in their municipality or city: startups, bankruptcies, statute changes, ... ;
- entrepreneurs can access and manage online their marketing and official data on a personalized company webpage.
