On October 22, 2009 - Krimson was present at the Digital Marketing event (DMF09) in Tour & Taxi's, Brussels.
It was an intense day - starting with the Krimson Krew (Jan, Donald and Roel) travelling more than 2 hours from Antwerp to Brussels in traffic jams. We were just in time to be able to do the presentation "How to lose your client, and make them feel happy about it".

Krimson was one of the partners in the DrupalVillage. An initiative to promote Drupal in Belgium - backed up by commercial volunteers. See more about this initiative at http://drupalvillage.be.

It became a very busy day for all of us answering Sellers and Buyers questions like

  • How is drupal different from Joomla
  • We have problems with our current (custom) CMS. Would you be able to build this site in drupal
  • How much does it cost to build an eCommerce site
  • What's the drupal village?
  • ...

All in all - it was a great experience. And the Krimson Krew was very happy to be able to close the night with a good meal at Tasso together with Robert Douglass (Acquia).
rant : Too bad, i managed to delete all the pictures i took using my google android. I hate unclear delete button(s) in the form of a '-' sign. Even more when there is not confirmation screen!

This Open Source Evangelist is extremely serious. How serious you ask? He obtained a Masters in Quantum Physics (aka stuff only he understands), bailed out of his PhD studies to obtain a Masters in IT instead and finally ended up saying 'yes' when Dries 'Drupal' Buytaert asked him to maintain DRUPAL.be. Known for his communication skills and no-nonsense style (make it work - and keep it running) he comes up with solutions for problems the client has never even thought of. He also provides all Krew members with shoulder taps and weekly massages. After all, Drupal is about sharing, isn't it?
