Drupal 7 got released this week. With it comes something for everybody. End users, developers, themers and sysadmins will all find something new and improved. We thought about our favourite stuff and came up with 7 times 7 (that's 49!) things we like in Drupal 7.

We present you this list in a nice presentation. This will be the presentation we will use on one of the Belgian Drupal 7 release parties.

If you too are organising a Drupal 7 release party and don't have a presentation yourself, we kindly offer you to use this one. If you want to make modifications and have a Prezi account, contact us and we'll share you a copy so you can edit it.

This extremely experienced Drupal developer found a home at Krimson after moving around quite a bit in the Belgian web industry. So far, he has mainly worked for advertising, broadcasting and non-profit clients, both big and small. Next to being a seasoned web developer, this guy's also passionate about design & usability, and has given several advanced Drupal trainings. He has a broad interest in technology, music and their combination. Rumor has it he also likes to play around with robotic arms. Who knows, one day his extra arms might code Drupal modules all by themselves!

Thanks for this great

Thanks for this great presentation. I'm so excited on Drupal 7 that I decided to move all my projects to Drupal 7 :) Can't wait to start and to try :)

Gorgeous!

That was beautifully done! I hope others pick up on it. Could you perhaps convert it into some kind of interchange format, such as .avi or .mov?

(I'm curious why included the bit about WYSIWYG, when that's not part of Drupal 7... but I won't quibble. :) )

@Tom Geller: It actually says

@Tom Geller: It actually says "improved WYSIWYG SUPPORT", but I admit including the screenshot is confusing. This is actually a slide that should be explained in more detail in a talk.

Another typo

4 for the future
Stream wrappers
Work with remote files as if they *were* local

This has been fixed. Thx!

Thanks a lot for this great presentation ! :)

Best wishes for 2011 to the Krimson dream team.

Nice

Very original and clear presentation ;)
Thanks for sharing!

Aliased multisites is what

Aliased multisites is what I'm on my knees praising the Drupal devs for. It might not have been that useful for everyone, but I'm one of those specific people whose lives have been made easier as a result ever since. By the way, where's No.7 for sysadmins? Hope you're not cheating on the 49! ;)
