Matthias Vandermaesen

Allrounder

Matthias holds degrees in History and Applied Informatics. He started his career at the City Archives of Antwerp performing research in the field of digitization and digital dissemination of audiovisual cultural heritage.

During his studies, he dabbled with PHP and MySQL. As a blogger, he settled with Wordpress and started to follow and eventually actively participate in the fast ever evolving world of web design and web development.

His hobby took a life of its' own, though, when he went on to become a web developer for Statik in Leuven. This is where the Drupal bug bit him as he got acquinted with many of its' facets and features. After a brief period of freelancing, he settled with Krimson to become a fully fledged Drupal ninja.
