We know Drupal

Krimson is a team of dedicated web developers joining forces to do cool stuff with Drupal. Whether that means building your new website from scratch, training your staff to become Drupal ninjas, or advising you on your latest web project: we're all yours.

Our Krew of fifteen, coming from very different backgrounds, can take on the different aspects of web development with solid experience. From helping you define your site's architecture to implementing the design you love so much, from developing the custom module that suits your needs to importing your existing content into a fresh Drupal site.

'Cause one background we all share: we all love this thing called Drupal. We stumbled upon this stunning piece of open source software for different reasons and at different times and we like it for reasons equally different. Be it the quality and reliability of the code, or the flexibility and ease-of-use that runs through the system's veins. Each one of us is a Drupalite at heart.

Active in both the Belgian and international Drupal community, when we're not organizing community events ourselves, we're geeking out at the nearest Drupal gathering or helping people out in the forums. We try to give back to Drupal and its community where and whenever we can.
Although we use Drupal for all of our web projects, we don't offer stock solutions. We strongly believe that every project deserves a focused and individual approach, and we leverage Drupal's flexibility to live up to this belief.

This Open Source Evangelist is extremely serious. How serious you ask?
He obtained a Masters in Quantum Physics (aka stuff only he understands), bailed out of his PhD studies to obtain a Masters in IT instead and finally ended up saying 'yes' when Dries 'Drupal' Buytaert asked him to maintain DRUPAL.be.

Known for his communication skills and no-nonsense style (make it work - and keep it running) he comes up with solutions for problems the client has never even thought of. He also provides all Krew members with shoulder taps and weekly massages. After all, Drupal is about sharing, isn't it?
Jo Wouters

Founder & Business Owner

Co-founder of Krimson and online since Fidonet. His informatics education first guided him to an all-but-ninja past, marked by corporate evil working as a technical architect/consultant. But after meeting Roel in Sunnyvale, CA they both felt that leaving the Banking World of Dour for the cowboy lifestyle of Drupal Development was the right thing to do.

This Technical Drupal Architect Ninja Master recently had to push back his suicidal craze for parachute jumping, sky diving and other life threatening adventures to be converted into a responsible parent.

Mastered in Informatics this Senior Drupal Architect actually got a proper education in the field. After slaving for five years as an all round IT-er for e-governmental stuff he chose to hold that same function at Krimson: from analysis to development. Fascinated by JQuery.

This vegetarian rock star is the most silent of the whole Krew - near to mute, really - but this is probably because he has no vocal power left after screaming his heart out on hard-core fests. Remains faithful to Drupal during those outbursts of glam - check the t-shirt...

Experienced web developer ever since PHP 3 came out. He got hooked on Drupal after experimenting with tons of other frameworks including writing his own - who didn't right ? This Drupal ninja has written a dozen modules, writes patches for Drupal core and will review every single line of code that goes out into production. He's not afraid to dive into code and research best performance practices in order to save kittens. His passion is so big he got a Druplicon tattoo on his wrist. Talk about dedication!

Thinks a day should have 36 hours so he can finally release that one rock album to conquer the world and retire on his own private island. Builds arcade machines in the meantime to relive his childhood.

With degrees in History and Applied Informatics he found his perfect match at the City Archives of Antwerp where he did research on digitalization and digital dissemination of audiovisual cultural heritage. Dabbling with PHP and MySQL, and blogging with Wordpress he eventually actively participated in the fast ever evolving world of web. He chose Krimson to become a fully fledged Drupal ninja.

Comes from infamous Bruges to Antwerp really for espionage. Secret Service reports can be read on http://netsensei.nl (The Dutch Connection) He pretends to listen to his own music when all he does is tap wires while he works.

Obtained a Bachelor in ICT and headed straight for the Krimson office after that. This Drupal Developer goes beyond websites: operating systems, networking and programming in general. He knows everything. And when there's something he doesn't know, you can be certain that -by tomorrow- he will. On his way to obtaining a Master's degree.

A highly skilled frontend developer that loves good vibes & laughs, he came to
Drupal about two years ago, after being kindly brainwashed by partner in
crime Swentel. Today, this theming ninja co-maintains Drupal modules
like Display Suite & Sweaver, that made life a lot better for countless
Drupal themers & site administrators.

Born & raised close to the Belgian seaside, he now resides near Ghent.
Needless to say, he was thrilled to hear the news about Krimson opening
a new office there.

This extremely experienced Drupal developer found a home at Krimson
after moving around quite a bit in the Belgian web industry. So far, he
has mainly worked for advertising, broadcasting and non-profit clients,
both big and small.

Next to being a seasoned web developer, this guy's also passionate about
design & usability, and has given several advanced Drupal trainings. He
has a broad interest in technology, music and their combination.
Rumor has it he also likes to play around with robotic arms. Who knows,
one day his extra arms might code Drupal modules all by themselves!
